Escutcheon, which comes from the Latin word shield, are used to provide a professional and decorative finish to keyholes. The escutcheon can be manufactured from a range of metals, and as we’ve a full manufacturing site at our disposal giving us the flexibility to design and manufacture any shaped escutcheon for your project and specification.
Euro profile, standard keyhole, oval cylinder and unique cut-outs can all be accommodated.

The majority of all lockable doors will require a escutcheon, whether it’s built into the handle surround or separate plate as without one the door’s decorative finish can wear quickly, and result in unrepairable damage.
Our escutcheon plates are designed to be affixed to doors that don’t have push/pull plates with the keyhole built into the metal work, offering a simple and clean finish to a door keyhole area. The escutcheon also provides a professional finish to a door installation as it covers up any sins made while installing the lock.

Size and shapes
We can manufacture any shape or design that suits your project. Most common escutcheons are no bigger than 50x50mm, and typically are no more than 100x100mm in size due to their application and installation positions on doors. We can however manufacture any shape or size escutcheon for your job.
